My Story.

Hi! I'm Tamar...I'm a born-and-bred New Yorker with a big passion for helping people feel confident and empowered about their health. I believe that regularly practicing self care and self love is the foundation for living a balanced and fulfilling life. So many of us struggle with feeling frustrated about our health, uncomfortable in our skin, and confused about how to eat. I've definitely been there!

I started restricting my diet to manage food sensitivities and chronic IBS. I tried every "healthy" restrictive diet out there and was always on a new medication or supplement routine. This eventually led me to a place of constantly thinking about food, criticizing my body, and feeling frustrated about my health. It was physically and emotionally exhausting! 

Fed up with the years of ups and downs with my health, I decided to commit and invest in my health in a way that I never have before. I began a life-changing journey to heal my relationship with food, my body and my health, and found my passion for nutrition and behavioral health along the way. I invested time and money into trust-worthy professionals in all areas of my wellbeing. I realized the solution to my health problems was not finding the right medication or going on the right diet. It was doing the work to reframe my body image, learning how to manage stress in a healthy way without overeating and emotional eating, doing more things that bring me joy, eating and exercising in a way that supports my needs, following the right supplement routine to balance my health, and practicing mindfulness!

Today I feel balanced in my relationship with food, confident in my skin, and grounded because I know how to manage my health. My goal is to help you get to a place of loving and caring for yourself so you can stop worrying about your health and start living a balanced and fulfilling life. I created All Great Nutrition to help you:

  • Adopt healthy and effective strategies for managing your stress

ON HEALTH

 I approach health from a functional medicine perspective that focuses on treating the root cause of disease and imbalances. Through the right combination of nutrition (whole foods and supplements when appropriate), exercise, sleep, stress management, mental wellbeing and optimizing our environment we can support the body's natural healing process. Every body has a unique genetic makeup and develops under unique environmental circumstances, therefore all of my health care is personalized to support your body's needs in various stages of healing.
